Colors on the Vineyard

Hello all!

There is rarely a bad place to paint on a farm. Just a short drive away are many farms, especially vineyards, to paint from. Vineyards have an interesting look to them. Your eye does not fixate on one thing solely. It, rather, wanders and travels through the vines.

Shape-wise, the rows and linear perspectives of the collected grapevines are so pleasing to look at. Color-wise, the sets of rows and atmospheric perspective give very exciting color variations.

Here is a shot of some of the colors mixed on the palette. I also got to mix and make some of my favorite compliments - the burnt oranges and blue-greens.
