Chroma.
Hello all!
It’s amazing how fast autumn flies by. I painted this only a few weeks ago, when the richness of color could be seen at its peak. The vivid hues were basically every color of the freakin’ rainbow.

It was chroma; pretty much straight out of the tube. I tend to shy away from such intensities going straight onto the canvas.
Normally, I gravitate to more neutral tones (or moody ones!).
But I wanted to try to get an accurate “feel” of fall, with all its INTENSITY and chroma. :)
